Intentions are Everything

Hello everyone! I want to address an issue that has caught my attention within the religious community. I know I offend some religious people with my truths and I am okay with that. There is nothing wrong with having a difference of opinions as long as the parties involved remain respectful. Furthermore, having a different perspective does not automatically equate with being enemies. I have observed commenters on various social media platforms having vicious arguments simply due to a difference of opinions. This world has many different types of people with much diversity. We are literally a potpourri of souls. Therefore, everyone will not perceive things the same way. Either way, I will be keeping it 100. With that being said let's have a discussion.

Over the past several years, I have observed religious leaders advising their followers to avoid certain practices they deem evil, demonic, or ungodly. Most of these practices fall under the umbrella of the New Age movement. It is a set of beliefs not affiliated with any particular religion. Instead, the principles emerge from the nature of existence and our universe. Wikipedia describes New Age as, "a range of spiritual or religious practices and beliefs which rapidly grew in Western society during the early 1970's." Most New Age followers shun the term "religious." The movement is defined as a form of "spirituality." The difference is religion is based on belief. It is inorganic and man-made. Spirituality is based on truth. It is organic coming directly from the non-material (supernatural) realm.

Please check out my page Truth Versus Belief for the fundamental differences between religion and spirituality.

  • The New Age body of knowledge has not been corrupted by human agenda or motives.
  • It started in Eastern culture and spread to the West.
  • It evolves from esoteric (hidden) philosophies consisting of ancient knowledge. Occultism and Mysticism are esoteric bodies of knowledge placed under the New Age category.
  • The term "New Age" is kind of misleading since it is governed by ancient wisdom. It was applicable before any organized religions were established.
  • The term "New Age" was initiated by Western culture. It is anything but new.
  • The emphasis is on the power of self. Divinity is not viewed as out there, but from within.

Some New Age practices have traditionally been considered beneficial. Others have been accompanied with strong warnings. I wholeheartedly agree with some of their recommendations. For example, necromancy-talking to the dead and using Ouija boards are big no-no's for me 😱! I do believe some of my transitioned loved ones communicate with me through dreams. However, you will never catch me sitting at anyone's séance table. There are some phenomena religious people talk against that have left me indecisive, such as astral projection, reincarnation, and Tarot cards. It appears that many individuals, including myself, spontaneously astral project while sleeping. Hence, I need to do more research on those topics before formulating any opinions. On the other hand, I believe some of their advice is misleading, such as condemning astrology. Ironically, the New Testament of the Holy Bible and the story of Jesus Christ make numerous references to astrology. This situation reflects a limited scope of understanding that has been imposed on the masses. I will be discussing my perspectives on 3 practices/rituals that are rebuked by various members of organized religion.

Fire It Up!

Burning Sage

Psalm 141:  "Let my prayer come like incense before you."

There are members of the religious community that advise their people not to burn sage in their homes, offices, churches or any other place. The practice is referred to as smudging. The rationale provided is that witches burn sage during their rituals. Therefore, the practice must be evil. That is a very simplistic and incomplete view. Smudging is a form of burning incense. Incense is defined by Merriam-Webster.com as a material that produces a fragrant aroma when burned. The material is a spice or gum (substance from a tree or bush). The Benefits of Incense by Supernatural.com (June 2, 2021) says, "In many religious practices, burning incense is believed to deepen our attention and empower our spiritual focus. The aroma of incense can help you tap in your spiritual connections. It calms the environment and your mind, cleansing the space for inner and outer journeys." Scientific research discovered that smudging destroys most bacteria in the air. In addition, it releases negative ions which have shown to facilitate a positive mood and mental clarity. Most importantly, there are numerous references throughout the Holy Bible that promote incense, including the gifts of frankincense and myrrh to baby Yeshua from the 3 kings. Those herbs were burned as incense to welcome the Christian messiah.

Every reference in the Bible about burning incense is within the context of pleasing God or enhancing worship. Ironically, some of you tote around Bibles, but you don't know what is in them 😠. It is clear that burning incense whether sage or other material has Biblical and/or scientific relevance. Witches did not create the practice of burning sage or any other incense. Of course, if you are not comfortable with this practice by all means don't do it.

A group that adopts an idea, object, or practice cannot change the original purpose or meaning of it...let that sink in. If a group of witches burn sage for evil purposes that is their focus and their intention. Your intention is what you are trying to achieve, accomplish, or manifest.
  • The whole universe and all of creation came about from an intention.
  • It can be viewed as consciousness with focus.
  • Intention is the catalyst for manifestation.
  • It is the energy exerted to bring about a certain outcome.
  • Your soul expresses itself through intentions.
  • Your vibrations shape your intentions.
  • What you are focused on guides your intentions.
  • Your karma is created from your intentions.
If you are focused on the Creator and related high frequencies, burning sage will only uplift your spiritual status. It will only enhance whatever experience you include it in. The reasoning provided for not smudging is based on flawed logic. For instance, if it is feasible not to burn sage due to its inclusion in witchcraft, then, religious people should stop bathing or cleaning their bodies. There are witchcraft rituals that involve taking a bath and cleaning the body. Based on the rationale that condemns burning sage, one should not bathe either! I don't believe any religion would benefit from a bunch of stinky followers 🤣🤣🤣.
You want to talk about a witch? The modern day church is one of the biggest allies to witches! Why? You have "church hurt" so many individuals that they're turning to alternative forms of spirituality; Witchcraft is mainly one of them. I have noted growing attestations to the influx of people practicing witchcraft over the last few years. One of the main reasons is being dissatisfied with the church. As a result, people are looking for alternative forms of spirituality. There are multiple articles on the internet reporting on the decline of Christianity, particularly within Western culture. The witchcraft community probably loves the Christian community for contributing to the growth of their flock. I even heard that more and more witches are starting to join traditional churches. Their goal is not to convert to Christianity, but to convert the Christians to witchcraft! The lack of a Godly spirit in many churches makes witches feel comfortable enough to do that. It turns out that the modern day church is the biggest recruiter of witches! Pat yourselves on the back!

Stretch Stretch Stretch!

Yoga

Yoga is not just an exercise system, but a spiritual expression originating from Hinduism. It is the oldest known major religion on planet earth. Most of the information I will be discussing here has come from the article The Dangers of Yoga by Praisemoves.com. The breathing technique of yoga is referred to as breathing in prana which is the air containing the universal life force. The different poses and body positions represent paying homage to the 330 million deities of the Hindu faith. A few of the most dominant ones include the trinity of Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer. Yoga in Sanskrit (Hebrew language) means yoke. The Biblical meaning of yoke is the gift of commitment or service to Yeshua. Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest in your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." When two things are yoked together they are connected. Therefore, when you practice yoga, you are being connected to spiritual entities.

If Hinduism is not your belief system, it is understandable if you do not want to participate in the associated rituals. You have every right to reject any practice that does not resonate with you. However, if your intentions are simply to stretch and condition your muscles it is highly recommended. One can easily implement an exercise regimen of stretches that are not affiliated with Hinduism. The Creator of our universe also created our physical bodies which houses over 600 muscles. The human design is no mistake. In order to stretch specific muscles you must get into specific positions (poses). Our Creator would not give us bodies we could not improve and maximize the health. Good physical health raises our vibrations. Body, mind, and spirit are connected (yoked). Improving the health of one will inevitably impact the other.

While doing my research, I was appalled at some of the Christian information sources. They are outright attacks on not only yoga, but Eastern philosophies in general. Even the various martial arts are condemned, including Tai Chi. The Hindu deities or gods are referred to as demons. One article associated the breathing in of prana with alignment with Satan. Sounds far-fetched doesn't it? The rationale provided comes from the Bible verse Ephesians 2:2 referring to Satan as the "prince of the power of the air." That is what I call reaching which is a slang expression. It means one is so desperate to prove their point that they will exaggerate the facts. They will try to make connections where there are none.

Eastern religions are more in alignment with New Age principles. I believe the Christian aversion to New Age is the primary reason for its attack on Eastern philosophies. It is okay to have a belief system, but it does not give he or she the right to denigrate another one. All religions and belief systems promote universal truths. They all have pieces to the puzzle. In spite of the differences, there are similarities that yoke them together. If you believe a person or group is on the wrong path, then pray for them. Send them love. You recruit more bees with honey than you can with salt.

Can You See The Light?

Third Eye Activation

The third eye is a term for a small structure in the human brain called the pineal gland. It contains rods and cones similar to the frontal eyes. It picks up a spectrum of light the frontal eyes cannot detect. It produces chemicals that open one's consciousness (gateways) to other realms of reality. The pineal gland can be rendered nonfunctional aka calcified if exposed to various assaults, such as fluoride in the water. Your diet and the different hertz of sound also impact third eye activation. For more details about the function and implications of the pineal gland read my posts More Than Meets The Eye and The Third Eye: Friend or Foe?

The same principle applies to this as it does burning sage and yoga: Your intentions determine if the practice is beneficial or harmful. As with any activity if it doesn't resonate with you please don't try it. Third eye activation can be dangerous if you are in a low vibrational mindset. Consequently, you will tap into lower vibrational dimensions. The human brain has a limited capacity. Therefore, you may be unable to handle what you see or encounter leading to psychosis. I believe some illegal/unregulated drugs can cause such a situation. On the flip-side, if you have a high vibrational mindset, you will tap into higher vibrational dimensions leading to spiritual enlightenment and ascension. When you focus on the Creator your energy moves in that direction. When you focus on the destroyer your energy moves in that direction. The choice is yours.

"True genius resides in the capacity for evaluation of uncertain, hazardous, and conflicting information."  Winston Churchill

What I am about to say is not an attack on Christianity. I was a Christian for the majority of my life prior to enlightenment. I still believe in many of the Biblical principles as reflected in my discussions. Yet, based on my research, the original scripts from which Christianity evolved are the most manipulated and tampered with teachings of all the religions. Scriptures have been added, removed, and rearranged over the centuries. They have also undergone multiple language translations in which original meanings might have been lost.

The Ethiopian Christian Bible is the oldest, most accurate version available today. In addition, translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls from which the Old Testament was written is available to the public. I will address that in more detail in another discussion. In contrast, the teachings of Eastern philosophies are predominantly untouched. They have not been changed, altered, or modified. The Holy writings are exactly the same today as they were at their inception thousands of years ago.

"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."  Mahatma Gandhi

I have observed that a vast number of people calling themselves Christians are not loyal to their faith. Many do not adhere to their doctrines. Many don't follow their own Bible or even know half of what's in it. The ones who are knowledgeable pick and choose which commandments they will follow. They don't even try to do the right thing and will justify it by saying things like, "I am only human. I am not Jesus Christ. No one is perfect. I am a work in progress." All those statements are true, but are only applicable if there is a desire to obey. The main thing that distinguishes the true believer from the counterfeit one is the desire to obey. Both types of individuals are fallible meaning both will fall short of expectations. However, the true version is not happy when he or she falls short and tries again...Always striving to please their God. The counterfeits don't care whether they fall short. Their only recourse is to make a bunch of excuses.

When you love something to the point of worship, you want to follow it. You want to please it. It is one thing if someone becomes weak and backslides after sincerely attempting to follow their commandments. It is another thing when they have no desire to follow their commandments, don't even try, yet, attempt to justify it.

Luke 6:46  "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?"

A lot of churches are overflowing with counterfeit worshipers. When church service is over they blend perfectly with a corrupt world. A lot of these churches are run by false prophets who conduct them like social clubs and/or money-making businesses $$$. I dare not mention the indiscretions of an explicit and "adult-nature" that plague the church community. Instead of worrying about someone stretching a muscle, you need to worry about those behaviors I just described. The situation has reached the level of a crisis! So many people have been hurt, disillusioned, and traumatized 😢. So many souls have been lost 😢.

On the other hand, I have noted followers of other religions are more likely to display loyalty to their belief systems. In general, they are more devout and dedicated to their faiths. I may not agree with everything they believe, but I respect their loyalty. Nevertheless, there are always exceptions to the situation. What I am describing is what I have personally observed. Of course, there are devout Christians, upstanding churches, as well as disloyal non-Christian worshipers, but they are harder to find...like a needle in a haystack! Since I have walked away from organized religion, I act more like a Christian than most Christians! I express more love and gratitude. I am more likely to forgive. I am less selfish and more compassionate. I have more discernment. I feel more connected to the Creator and the universe.

Proverbs 16:18  "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall."

I cannot conclude this discussion without addressing the level of arrogance, haughtiness, and pompous attitudes I have encountered in the church. It is particularly prevalent among those who hold dominant positions. The scriptures about God hating pride and the story of the Pharisees are teachings they obviously chose not to follow. People like that will read my blog and sarcastically remark, "She is just church hurt." According to the statistics, a whole lot of people have been "church hurt" and are leaving it in droves. Instead of worrying about third eye activation you need to address why Christianity is losing so many followers. You might want to activate your third eye to reveal what is going on. Hopefully, you will let go of that arrogance and stank attitude. At least, take accountability for how you are contributing to the problems.

"Hypocrites get offended by the truth."  Jess C. Scott

I am not bashing church people. Praise the Lord! I used to be one of them. I am not passing judgment. I have a right to express my opinions and provide my perspectives. Hence, I don't mind calling out their mess! I've seen too much, heard too much, and experienced too much to stay quiet. I may have offended some people, but I am a truth-teller. By nature, truth-tellers will usually offend and piss people off. Oh well. It is what it is. If I angered you it is because what I said applied to you. Get over it! Stop being so hypocritical! Make the necessary changes in your life and in your churches.

Some of you are even driving around with bumper stickers and license plates promoting your faith. Yet, you are mean-spirited, hurt people, and wreak havoc on a routine basis. Please, act more like your messiah you claim to love sooooo much! You know, the one you get dressed up every Sunday and attend church for...The one you be hollering and shouting for...The one you be toting Bibles and quoting scriptures for...The one you be holy dancing and doing cartwheels for...yeah, that one.

First of all, get your house in order before criticizing the house of another.

Within these so-called houses of God, people are being molested and physically violated. Actual criminal offenses are taking place! People are having their hard-earned money stolen/swindled from them. People are being degraded and disrespected. People are being emotionally brutalized and traumatized. Spiritual leaders need to focus on those issues. Whether your congregation is using crystals or studying astrology is not the priority. You all got bigger fish to fry! Don't do it because I am telling you to do it. Do it because it is the right thing. Do it because you know it makes sense. Do it because it's based on truth! Oh! I forgot. Most people don't want to hear the truth. You have found comfort zones in the midst of hypocrisy and deception. Spiritual growth seldom happens in a comfort zone. Ultimately, if you do not embrace truth, you will not ascend. It should be everyone's intention to ascend. The only other alternative leads to spiritual destruction and death.

Your intentions set the tone for everything you do in both the natural and the supernatural realms.

Your intentions influence the types of experiences you have.

Your intentions determine how other living things respond to you.

Your intentions are energy that attract and draw more energy.

The intentions of someone or something else can be more powerful and more influential in a situation.

Often times, intentions don't manifest or they don't manifest the way we intended. For example, it might be your intention to get promoted to a specific position on your job. You do everything you are suppose to do plus extra to facilitate that process. In order for intentions to manifest in the physical world you must perform specific tasks that create the supporting circumstances. In other words, you must create the situation that facilitates what you are trying to accomplish. Unfortunately, management is determined you will not get the promotion. They have someone else in mind who is placed in that position. In spite of your intention, you do not get the promotion. Management has more power, authority, influence, and access to resources than you. Therefore, their intention overrides yours.

The same is true for the spiritual world. You could have a deceased family member you really love. Your intention is to talk to them again because you miss them so much. Once the ritual starts, weird things start to happen, such as unseen forces knocking over furniture, windows shattering, hearing disembodied voices, etc. You are now thinking, "I did not sign up for this!!!" In spite of your amiable intention, you clearly tapped into a spiritual entity more powerful than you with stronger energy. This specific powerful spiritual energy has a different, more sinister agenda. Its intention overrides yours. Any spiritual activity you partake in involves interacting with entities with their own intentions. Their energy is going to respond to your energy. This is why you need to be careful when partaking in certain metaphysical activities. You cannot always control the energy you tap into. Your intentions may be trumped by something not so friendly. I am not knowledgeable in this area. Nevertheless, I would assume that any risky activity must have protections, natural and supernatural, that can be put into place.

Manifestation of an intention without supporting circumstances is called a miracle. The miraculous event never or rarely occurs. It does not go through conventional physical channels that can be explained by science or logic. There is intention, but minimal if any physical effort to facilitate it. Nevertheless, it happens anyway. According to Quora.com, the opposite of a miracle is tragedy, disaster, catastrophe, and cataclysm. Divine intervention is a type of miracle that happens when manifestation from lower frequencies is thwarted by higher frequencies. The energy comes directly from the ethereal realm without a physical vessel. An excellent example is the Biblical story of the parting of the Red Sea. Imagine a cancerous tumor disappearing without medical intervention. The car is totaled, but the driver is uninjured with barely a scratch. What should have been very negative events were transformed without tangible explanation.

There can be intention without manifestation, but manifestation always requires intention. Sometimes, our intentions don't manifest the way we intended. We must exert more energy and perform additional tasks to create the right circumstances. Referring back to the example of not getting the promotion: At that point, you may perceive management as violating your civil rights and file a lawsuit. If you win, your intention will be manifested, but it required the expenditure of more energy.

Intentions are everything. They are the foundation for the entire universe. They are the bridge between consciousness and manifestation. Nothing would exist without intentions. The highest frequency of an intention is love. In other words, if you have a love-dominated state of mind your intentions will reflect love. If you have an anger-dominated state of mind your intentions will reflect anger. What we refer to as God, the universe, or the Creator is love that is conscious or aware of itself. Therefore, it has intention which is the energy to create and manifest. We have inherited that same ability so let’s use it wisely.
