More Than Meets The Eye

I'm sure many of you of have heard and believe the adage, "The eyes are the window to the soul." Did you know that it applies to more than just the 2 eyes on your face? We all have a third eye in the brain aka the pineal gland. It was recognized by the ancient Egyptians who referred to it as the Eye of Horus. Horus is an ancient Egyptian deity. It is manifested in the 6th chakra in the middle of your forehead right above the level of your eyebrows. The 6th chakra regulates intuition and enhances perception. Chakras are circular energy fields of life energy (prana) generated from a specific area of the body which are connected to the spiritual domain. The pineal gland has some of the same structures as your physical eyes, such as cones and rods. Therefore, it processes light to translate information into images. In addition, our third eye can see spectrum of light that the physical eyes cannot detect, thus, accessing the ethereal realms. According to Wikipedia, it is no bigger than a grain of rice seated in the center of the brain between the left and right hemispheres. It is an endocrine gland meaning it controls and produces hormones, such as melatonin controlling our sleep/wake cycle or circadian rhythms. You may have heard of or actually consume melatonin nutritional supplements for individuals who suffer from insomnia. The function of the pineal gland is directly impacted by nutritional health, medications we take, and exposure to chemicals in the environment. Therefore, it is important to eat properly, avoid ingesting harmful chemicals, and keeping our environment safe from assaults that inhibit this magnificent part of the human anatomy.

Our third eye also produces a complex sounding chemical known as N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT). Scientific research has classified DMT as a hallucinogen, similar to the psychedelic drug LSD giving experiences of altered perception. The article, "Types of Psychedelic Drugs" by Elizabeth Hartney, describes psychedelic drugs as substances that produce hallucinations. A google search of the definition for hallucination states it is a "perception of something that is not present." The question is whether something not present is limited to what is not visible? In other words, just because physical vision or the 5 basic senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, & taste) cannot detect something, does not mean it is not present. I have long believed what science calls hallucinations are actually different dimensions of reality that are just as real, if not more real than this third-dimensional matrix. Hartney's article goes on to define psychedelic drugs as, "...a group of substances used recreationally to change and enhance sensory perceptions, thought processes, and energy levels, and to facilitate spiritual experiences." Enhance means to heighten, not to diminish or reduce the function. That article, in my opinion, supports the role of DMT as a conduit between the physical and spiritual worlds. It enables people to access information not available to them through the 5 basic senses. Everyone from the fortune teller🔮 to the religious prophet✞ utilize the amazing capabilities of the 6th chakra. Intuition, gut feelings, premonitions, prophetic dreams/visions, paranormal and supernatural experiences are all impacted by the third eye. Who knows, there might also be other areas of the human brain influencing higher perception that modern-day science has not yet discovered. Please note that I said modern-day science because I am convinced ancient knowledge is much more accurate and comprehensive. Unfortunately, a lot of ancient wisdom has been lost and purposely destroyed over the centuries. Research has already found DMT is produced from other areas of the brain in addition to the pineal gland. In contrast, an abstract from the National Library of Medicine, "N,N-dimethyltryptamine and the pineal gland: Separating fact from myth" by David E. Nichols acknowledges there are notions that DMT is produced during birth, dreaming, near-death, and other out-of-body experiences. Yet, it disputes such beliefs suggesting that the amount of DMT produced by the brain is too small to render a psychoactive experience. DMT could possibly be so powerful that it may only require a very small amount to make an impact. Has someone identified all the chemicals in the brain that influence perception and their quantities? If not, there is not enough information to dispute. There might be substances that work side by side with DMT to enhance its effect we don't know about. There are too many pieces to the puzzle missing and so much we still don't know.

Modern-day religion, particularly Christianity, often penalizes the use of the third eye labeling it as evil. It is important for religious people to know the history of their own religion. Christianity actually evolved from ancient Egyptian and other pre-existing theologies. The ancient Egyptians referred to the third eye as the seat of the soul. It is not evil unless we use it for evil. If one is feeding it negative energy, darkness, and lower vibrations, the corresponding perceptions will result. In like manner, if one is feeding it positive energy, light, and higher vibrations, the corresponding perceptions will result. The energy we pass onto our third eye largely comes from our environment, what we think, visualizations, and what we focus on. That is why spiritual advisors often recommend not filling our minds with or visualizing horrific and spiritually dark images, such as watching too many horror movies. Last summer, I was going through a personal trauma with the tenant from hell🔥that I discuss in detail in the post Surviving Rona. In response to my situation, I assumed a spiritually dark state-of-mind although I did not act on it. As a result, I watched a countless number of these short 30-minute horror movies featured on YouTube...There must be hundreds of them. They have extremely dark themes and are just as explicit, graphic, and terrifying as any full-length movie. I would watch them one after the other all day long and into the evening. I believe it served as an emotional and psychological outlet for me while going through a crisis. The darkness that I felt due to my circumstances was being rerouted. Instead of doing something crazy, I watched crazy things on the screen. However, I paid a price for watching so much evil depravity. After a couple of months, I would get seriously spooked by things that I previously gave no attention, such as house noises and patterns of light on the walls. On one occasion, I literally jumped from seeing my own shadow after turning on a lamp. Normally, I slept in a mostly dark room in complete silence, but I started sleeping with the light on and playing spiritual music every night. My dreams became darker, more weird, and disturbing. Sometimes, when I was in the house alone, it felt as if I was not really alone, but not in a good way. My third eye was opening up portals to places consistent with the energy I was feeding it. I soon made the connection with my new hobby of watching horror movies and I simply stopped. Gradually, my experiences and sensations returned back to their baseline. A significantly better outlet would have been visualization of positive, upbeat images and situations, such as my home setting post-Rona. I should have focused on things I desired and wanted to attract in my life. Darkness does not disperse darkness, only light disperses darkness.

The ancient civilizations were much more in-tune with spirituality, the origins of life, and the nature of humankind than modern-day society and religious institutions. The pineal gland known as the third eye was revered, celebrated, and utilized by the ancients. Therefore, I am aligning myself with their position which is supported by growing scientific evidence, sacred writings, and personal experiences from people all over the world. Some religious individuals condemn this type of discussion without doing the research or knowing the history. How can a prophet at the church look at a complete stranger and see so many details about their life? How does a person have a dream or vision about an event and then, at some future time, it actually happens? How can people from all walks of life who were clinically dead and medically resuscitated describe such elaborate experiences that are all very similar? When a person has an intuition or gut instinct about something that turns out correct, where and how did they get the information? How does one receive communications from God or any supernatural entity? The answer to all of those questions is likely extra-sensory perception (ESP) or senses above and beyond the basic 5, also supported by science. There must be at least one physical organ or structure that assumes the function of being a receptor receiving input from the spiritual realm. According to the Ancients, the pineal gland is the hot spot for ESP and heightened awareness. If one is cut off from that ability there is no way to connect with other dimensions of reality. All of one's perceptions will come from the physical world which is only a fraction of reality. A person who practices black magic is receiving information through their pineal gland just as the hallelujah shouting prophet. However, their sources of information vary dramatically. It is frequently documented throughout the Holy Bible of God communicating with people through dreams and visions. Both God and Satan communicate with people through the third eye showing us things that our physical eyes cannot see. Ultimately, it's our choice which channel we tune-in, just like the TV or stations of the radio.
